Suppurative arthritis secondary to trauma
Plain-Language Description:
The underside of the foot has a raw ulcer area (black arrow) and nearer the heel is a very swollen area with many small white bumps/nodules (white arrow).
Pathology Description:
On the palmar/plantar surface of the hoof there is a 3.0cm ulceration (black arrow) with 50 raised white 0.2cm diameter nodules caudal to it (white arrow).
